Jacob is a member at Kaalberg Giesecke PLLC. Before joining the firm, Jacob gained experience at Frost Brown Todd where he assisted national and international financial institutions in closing real estate transactions intended for securitization.  When he moved to Nashville in 2015, Jacob joined Waller Lansden Dortch and Davis in the finance and restructuring group. While at Waller, Jacob primarily focused his legal practice on assisting lenders and borrowers in all aspects of commercial financing arrangements. At Kaalberg Giesecke, Jacob assists clients in various facets of commercial real estate and finance, including borrowing, lending, acquisitions, development and dispositions.

Jacob received his JD from The University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law. At Brandeis, Jacob was the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Animal and Environmental Law and the President of the Student Bar Association. Jacob is a graduate of Oxford University, Regent’s Park College, where he obtained a Master of Theology. He also received his B.A. magna cum laude, from Georgetown College.

Jacob is a native of Kentucky and lives in East Nashville with his wife and their three young children. He lived in the United Kingdom for five years and spent a summer abroad in Venezuela. When not traveling, Jacob and his family enjoy going to the lake, spending time in Nashville's parks, and staying active.
